| The Grinnell Police
Department each year participates in the State of Iowa's
Safety Traffic Enforcement Program. A couple weeks a
year each participating agency employs extra patrol
assignments to specifically target safety traffic
violations.
This program is funded through
a grant issued by the State of Iowa. Participation in
this grant also
allows for equipment purchases and upgrades to agencies.
