Response to the Active Shooter Update Training

Thursday June 8th, 2006       0900 - 1800

  • Training and preparing the first responding law enforcement officer in the rapid response to a terrorism incident in progress.

  • This training is to update and enhance basic training already received in the rapid response to the active shooter.  Students with no previous training are encouraged to attend but will be forwarded a self-study program to complete prior to the training. 

  • This training will be available to area law enforcement agencies at no cost and will consist of a 2 hours class room theory with the remainder being force on force training using Simunitions training weapons.

Former member Special Operations Group, North Central Iowa Narcotics Taskforce Entry Team Leader.
